Beat Your Own Record And Dream Greater Dreams
The Olympics continue to bring its seasonal inspirations day after day. From stories of suffering refugees finally seeing their dreams come to life on the world stage to athletes breaking world records, and records they’ve achieved themselves before.
And seeing pro athletes break records they set themselves is an inspiration in and of itself.
What better achievement is there to achieve something and outdo it again, and again, and again?
We all have our accomplishments and achievements. No matter how small or seemingly meaningless they are.
That very first moment your two feet carried the rest of your body and provided balance for you to move from point A to point B was a major accomplishment. And when you began to pick up the pace and started to run. That was a new achievement in your life.
Completing elementary school was a milestone. Getting into high school was like stepping into a whole new world.
Getting that very first job, whether it was just a small thing on the side while at school, or your first step on your career path, was another important accomplishment. One that you probably still remember very well.
Whether you are stuck at a plateau, feeling low in a valley with mountains towering above you, or making strides on your way to the top, reflect on what personal records and goals you have set in your life. Think about how you achieved those records, and figure out a way to break them and set new levels for yourself.
Beat your own record and dream greater dreams today.
